Finally found how to change the smtp banner in WebShield. Simultaneously cool and useless. Question : Can I change the default SMTP banner? Answer : Yes. With hotfix 6 you can import the supplied BANNER.REG key onto your system. The key will be placed in the following location of the registry: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Network Associates\TVD\WebShield SMTP\MailScan\BANNERTEXT You can modify this string value to change the default SMTP banner. liNk
